Adult social game
ChattingUp is an 18+ social game of creative conversation with live rooms, temporary private rooms, ratings and a ranking. By entering you confirm you are 18 or older.
Respect and safety
Harassment, hate speech, explicit sexual content, threats, spam and sharing personal data (yours or others’) in chat are forbidden. Use report and block whenever needed. Zero tolerance: objectionable content and abusive users are not tolerated. Reports are acted on within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the offending user.
Account
Accounts use email and password with email confirmation. Keep your password safe. Accounts can be restricted or banned for violations.
Purchases
The app is free with daily limits. Optional purchases (chavecadas, passes, Plus subscriptions) use Google Play on Android, the App Store on iOS and Stripe/PayPal on the web. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in the corresponding store.
Refunds and right of withdrawal
Sales are governed by Portuguese law and European Union legislation (Decree-Law 24/2014; Directive 2011/83/EU). For distance purchases, consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason. Legal exception for digital content supplied immediately (chavecadas, passes, packs and credits): by purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that once delivery has begun you lose the right of withdrawal — after supply there is no refund, except for lack of conformity (Decree-Law 84/2021). Plus subscriptions: you may withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, with a proportional deduction for the period already used; after that, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no further charges. Purchases made on the App Store and Google Play also follow Apple’s and Google’s refund policies and must be requested from those stores; browser purchases (Stripe/PayPal) should be requested via the contact email. For consumer disputes you may use an alternative dispute resolution entity (consumidor.gov.pt) and the Portuguese electronic complaints book (livroreclamacoes.pt).
Ranking and mural
Post-private ratings feed the ranking. Excerpts reach the Top 10 Mural only with the author’s opt-in and may be removed by moderation.
Moderation
We may remove content and restrict or ban accounts that violate these terms, based on reports and review.
