Who we are

ChattingUp is operated by Guardião D'Ónix Unipessoal LDA, operating as Transfer Guardians (Portugal). Contact: sales@transferguardians.com.

Data we collect

Account email, in-game nickname/handle, language, chat messages, ratings, friendships, reports, blocks, purchase records (product, transaction and status — never card data) and technical logs needed to run the service. Date of birth is validated at sign-up and stored with restricted access to verify the 18+ requirement.

How we use it

To run the game (rooms, ranking, mural, daily limits), manage your account (login, email confirmation, password recovery), grant purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or do third-party marketing.

Sharing

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), Resend (account emails), Google Play, Apple and Stripe/PayPal (payments). Each receives only what it needs.

Public content

Messages in the plaza are visible to participants. Excerpts appear in the Top 10 Mural only with your opt-in and a good rating. Nickname and position appear in the ranking.

Retention and deletion

We keep data while your account exists. You can request deletion on the data-deletion page; purchase, fraud, security, moderation or legal records may be retained where required, minimized whenever possible.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and database access is limited by row-level security policies.

Adults only

ChattingUp is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data and complain to a data-protection authority (CNPD in Portugal). Write to sales@transferguardians.com.
